Hello, I am Dawood Ahmad.

I am a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) student from Wah Cantt, Pakistan, and I build Bin Aziz Pharmacy POS: simple, offline-first software for pharmacies.

I study pharmacy, and I have always been drawn to technology. This project is where the two meet. In a pharmacy the small details matter: the right medicine, the right batch, the right expiry date. A counter that gets them right every time protects the customer and the shop.

Why I built it

Many pharmacies still run on paper registers, spreadsheets or general billing programs that were never designed for medicines. Batches and expiry dates are easy to lose track of, khata (credit) accounts are hard to follow, and a slow internet connection should never stop a sale.

I wanted software that:

  • works fully offline, so a power or internet problem never stops the counter
  • tracks every batch and expiry date, so the oldest stock is sold first
  • keeps customer khata clear and up to date
  • keeps your data on your own computer, not on someone else’s server
  • has open pricing, with every feature in every plan
  • comes with a real person to talk to when you need help

So I started building it. Bin Aziz Pharmacy POS is the result, and I keep improving it with feedback from the pharmacies that use it.

Why the name “Bin Aziz Pharmacy POS”?

Every part of the name means something.

Bin Aziz

“Bin” means “son of”. My father’s name is Aziz Ahmad, and I carry his name in this brand as a tribute to him.

Pharmacy

I am a Pharm.D student, and the software is made for pharmacies, so the name says exactly what it is for.

POS

Point of Sale: the system that records every sale at the counter, from the first scan to the printed receipt.

The business. Bin Aziz POS is a sole proprietorship owned and run by Dawood Ahmad, based in Wah Cantt, Punjab, Pakistan. We are an online business and have no public shop or office.

Questions pharmacists ask

Does it need the internet?

No. Selling, stock and reports work offline. The app confirms your license about once a week. If the connection is down, it keeps working for 7 more days before asking you to reconnect.

What leaves my computer?

Only your license key, a signed license token, an anonymous hardware code and the app version, during license checks. No sales, stock or customer data is ever sent.

Can I use more than one computer?

Yes. Pick one main computer and connect extra counters on the same network. Extra counters need no license of their own.

Which printers work?

Any printer installed in Windows, plus network (Wi-Fi or LAN) ESC/POS thermal printers. With no printer, receipts show on screen.

What if my computer fails?

Restore the latest backup on a new computer from the first screen. Keep a copy of your backups on a USB drive or cloud folder as well.

Windows shows a SmartScreen warning when I install.

Choose “More info”, then “Run anyway”. The installer installs for your user account only and never deletes your data on update or uninstall.

Can I get a refund?

Unpaid orders can be cancelled any time from your account. Monthly plans are not refundable once paid, and nothing renews automatically. Annual and one-time plans have limited exceptions within 7 days of payment (for example if the license was never activated). See the refund & cancellation policy.

How do I contact support or complain?

Write to contactbinaziz@gmail.com or message us on WhatsApp. We answer within 2 working days and aim to resolve complaints within 7. See Complaints & support.

Which computers does it run on?

Windows 10 or 11 for now.

What happens if my license expires?

The app locks, but nothing is deleted. Your data stays on your computer and backups keep running. Renew and it unlocks the next time it checks in.

Can I move to a new computer?

Yes. A license is tied to one main computer, so contact us and we will re-activate it. Restore your latest backup on the new computer from the first screen.
